Perfect tense holidays - listening battleships

Perfect tense combined with time phrases. The students have a copy of the battleships grid and hear a selection of sentences in English for which they must find the exact German equivalent (e.g. A1). There is then a Ger to Eng translation activity. Encourages detailed attention to the text. I used this in conjunction with Stimmt 2 page 13. (The template could also be populated with English sentences and German equivalents read out for a more challenging alternative).
