These 3 books help to develop and consolidate phonic skills, and cover most of the phonics skills taught in schools. Little non-phonic writing is required and the clear, easy format enables independent working. Book 1 concentrate on c-v-c words, double final consonants, sh and ch and the long vowels ai, ee, igh, oa and oo. Book 2 deal with the long vowel phonemes ar, or, ur, ow, oi, air and ear, plus adjacent consonants.
