Phonics Phase 2 CVC Words Self Checking Cards Activity

A set of phonics Phase 2 self-checking CVC activity cards, covering all middle vowel sounds: /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, /u/. These cards are ideal to use with Phonix Cubes, or if printed and laminated, they can be used with a whiteboard pen to write on/wipe off. A superb addition to your phonics carousel to use with an adult or independently in your phonics continuous provision area. Additionally, they can be used as part of an intervention with older students. Both students and adults can check answers by reversing the cards; this builds confidence and motivation.

Printing Instructions:
Pages can be printed on both sides so the answer is on the reverse of each card. Print all pages from 2-21 for this option.
If the self-checking option is not required, print all EVEN pages.
Please note, this resource was created A4 in size, therefore if buying outside of the UK, ensure you change the printer settings for your region.
