Phonics - Read Write Inc. Additional Sets 1, 3 and 4 plus Consonant Blends (A6 Flashcards)

All the additional sets have been combined in the A6 format that has proved so popular as downloads for sets 1 to 3. The purpose of these were to facilitate home/school learning. They all come as A6 flashcards showing image reversed with sound that match the size of the existing flashcards they also contain a mnemonic and additional word examples. Combined with the available downloads these flashcards complete all the sounds for Phases 2-6.

Set 1+ includes all the additional sounds for set 1 of Read Write Inc: The 23 sounds included are: ff, ll, ss, zz, mm, rr, pp, gg, tt, bb, dd, cc, nn, ck, mb, wr, th, sh, ch, kn, tch, dge and gn.

Set 3+ includes all the missing sounds for set 3 of Read Write Inc: The 14 sounds included are: e-e, ey, ph, oe, au (or), ue, wh, ie (i), ie (ee), ea (e), ore, oar, ui and ier (ear).

Set 4 consists of all the additional sounds, again complimenting the format of Read Write Inc. sets 1-3:
The 19 sounds included are: tion/sion, our, y(i), ui(i), le, el, eer, ture, o(u), gh, eau(u), ve, al(ar), al(or), oor, or, war(wor) and wor(wur).

Also included within set 4 are the following additional sounds: 5 of the ‘ough’ sounds (aw/or, ow, uf, oe, of), augh, aigh, 2 ‘eigh’ (ay and ie) sounds. These sounds, though applicable in Year 2 are also suited to Year 3.

Finally, Set 4+ compliments the Read Write Inc. phonics, this set includes all the consonant blends within Phase 4:
