Picasso Dual Monster Puppet Portraits

Students will be able to demonstrate and form their own interpretation of a monster in the views from multiple angles cubism style of Pablo Picasso from their imagination by practicing the art of collage- drawing, cutting, arranging and designing each piece of the monster to complete the puppet for this mixed media project. Pablo Picasso’s birthday was on October 25, 1881 and this project will also be done to celebrate and honor the artist with a fun Halloween theme. The students will sharpen their fine motor skills in this activity that involves sketching and precise cutting with the scissors as well as their ability to arrange the pieces in an order that is pleasing to their eye to complete the portrait.
