A lesson based upon Geography in the News - The River Tame has the highest amount of plastic in the World!

Then moves on to the Ocean -
How did it get there?
What are the effects?
How can we stop this?

Was aimed at Y7 but can be adapted.

This is a useful resource for my learners. However, I was looking for more of a comprehension and activity task for them where they would be skimming and scanning for a lot more information to add to your fantastic worksheet and perhaps doing a gap fill for lower level learners. Finishing up with a writing activity on what they've learnt, i.e. Twitter is brilliant. Thank you!
