A lovely unit based on Lewis Carroll's 'Jabberwocky'. These resources allow the students to explore the nonsensical language from the poem, consider lexical purpose and then create their own definitions and nonsense glossary. This then follows on to poetry performance. I have used this collection really successfully with years 7 and 8.
