A super problem solving activity using trial and error where children have the opportunity to think deeply about using their place value knowledge and skills to come up with the best combination. Suitable for KS2. Comes with pp, lesson plan, worksheet and digits. Great as a stand alone lesson and can be adapted by changing the criteria to make it easier or extending it further with children coming up with their own criteria.
