Here are two development pages that I have drawn up using isometric projection. Each shows detailed labelling and sketching on how each product could be manufactured.
The first design is a games table for four players showing the following: Ergonomics showing how the table could be comfortable for the user, anthropometrics data showing what human body sizes would be necessary for making this product, material selection, how it would be assembled, how a jig/template could be used and making a vacuumed formed tray for inside of the draws, plus more...
The second design is a piece of costume jewellery with movement showing the following: How a jig/wooden former could be used for heating the acrylic in an oven or line bending for a less accurate shape, soldering, making the presentation box and a case for it to sit in.
These are great aids that I print out for my students to gain an understanding of the time and effort needed on each page to gain top marks.
