This is a unit of work which will last a number of weeks and is a STEM project including design and technology, maths, advertising, budgeting, area, ICT and presenting.
The children are asked to work individually or collectively to plan and draw a luxury resort and create a layout on squared paper. They must then work out the area of each facility and create a sales pitch, a 3D model of one of the bedrooms and create sales figures based on percentage occupancy.
