I created this lesson for my year 9 PSHE group. In this lesson they are asked to reflect on how they feel and link this to the journey ahead as they start GCSE, before exploring why GCSE is important (with supporting hyperlinked video clip), understanding what the number grades mean and linking those standards to expectations of work and homework. Finally students consolidate learning from the lesson to think about a learning toolkit of strategies to help them do well.
