This is an engaging role-play court case lesson in which we put Pontius PIlate on trial for wrongly executing Jesus.
Using different discussion based activities students learn about the fairness of trial, the requirements for a Jewish and Roman trial and the injustice Jesus faced at his. Students will be asked to take on roles and put Pontius Pilate on trial before reviewing their own efforts through self-assessment.
