Ingredients

1 small onion
1 small clove garlic
1 tablespoon oil
1 400g chopped tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
Black pepper

Method

  1. Chop the onion and garlic clove
  2. Fry the onion and garlic in a saucepan for a few minutes
  3. Add 400g can of chopped tomatoes
  4. Add basil or mixed herbs
  5. Add black pepper
  6. Simmer for around 15-20 minutes
