Lessons linked to the RED framework.
These lessons to cover 2.5 hours of RE teaching include developing understanding of the historical context, the importance of Abraham to Christians, Jews and Muslims and how the Abrahamic Covenant makes the beginning of people believing in one God.
Learners are challenged to think about how they can use the example of Abraham to grow in faith and deepen their relationship with God.
Differentiated tasks with scaffolding also available.

Teaching slides to build understanding linked to learning outcomes including:
U4.1.4 Recognise that God’s covenant with Abraham is the foundation of the faith of the people of the Old and New Testaments: Judaism and Christianity.
