Reflections

A small collection of photos that can be used as part of a lesson on the science of reflections, or on weather, clouds, lakes and rivers. Why is it possible for me to see the clouds in the water? What do you think the weather might be like today, what things should I wear or take with me on my walk? Would I have the same image if the water was running faster?

The river Kent caused serious flooding after Storm Desmond when it burst its banks, and many people were homeless or lost businesses for more than 6 months. If you were responsible for the people in the town of Kendal, what might you do to prevent flooding of this river in the future?
