There’s a tonne of stuff out there on ‘The Truman Show’, and I only realised after I had done all of this - so if you’ve seen it before or it crosses over with anything else you’ve downloaded than it was unintentional and I apologise.
So, ‘The Truman Show’ (1998) (rated PG) is part of what RE teachers call ‘The Carrey Creed’ the other two being ‘Bruce Almighty’ (2003) & ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’ (2004).
The film is brimming with religious and philosophical ideas, most of which I’ve probably missed but I have flung a few at some tasksheets , cobbled some PowerPoints together plus a timing sheet so you know when everything pops up.

A great introduction to philosophical thought through the Truman Show! Perfect for KS3
Great resources which really helped me plan, particularly as I'm a non-specialist.
