1. Apostrophes - omission and possession
2. Drop-in-clause - who, which, 'ed&' words. ing words and subordinating connectives
3. Parts of a Sentence - parts of speech and examples of simple, compound and complex
4. Punctuation - full stops, question marks, apostrophes, commas, exclamation marks, semi-colon, colon, brackets, dashes and ellipsis

Just need to check the power point on parts of a sentence. When writing complex sentences if the independent clause (main clause) comes first in the sentence then a comma should not be used.
