I have scanned in each of the texts and questions to guide the children through the comprehension. Each text has a thesaurus challenge which supports children’s vocabulary aquisition.
All PowerPoints have the answers on the last slide so the work can be marked.
I anticipate each Powerpoint will take approximately half an hour to run through.

We are using 'The Magician's Nephew' as inspiration for writing and also use the Rising Stars comprehension, so I thought that your PowerPoint would be ideal. The way you have presented the text, questions and answers is immaculate. The focus on vocabulary is very useful, with words highlighted and dictionary/ thesaurus opportunities. At our school we tend to talk about retrieval and inference questions, so I might adapt your language regarding the type of comprehension questions to relate to this.
