This is a two part lesson.

The first part of the lesson (12A) introduces the case study and allows students to explore facts about GEOLOGY (rock type), CLIMATE (temperature and weather)
and HUMAN USE (e.g., tourism, leisure etc).

The second part of the lesson (12B) explores the various river management strategies used in the River Wye and there is an opportunity for a whole class quiz using mini whiteboards.

There are two exam questions in each lesson (4 in total), markscheme can be found in the OCR Exambuilder website.

I tend to find rivers and coasts boring but I really enjoyed teaching these lessons to my Year 11s!
