Roman Invasion of Britain Assembly Script (KS2/3)

This twenty-five minute assembly script was written by an experienced primary school Head of English who is also, outside of school, an award-winning writer. The script was penned for an able Year 5 class but is suitable for performance by any year group in Key Stage 2 or 3. The script is deliberately humorous, yet is also full of informative and educational learning opportunities surrounding the Roman invasions of Britain under Julius Caesar and Claudius. The script as written has twenty-six parts but these could easily be split or doubled up depending on the actual number of children involved.
