This lesson aims to examine the language used by Romeo and Mercutio in Act 1 Scene 4 to show their different attitudes to wards love. The lesson makes use of reading strategies as suggested in Doug Lemov's 'Reading Reconsidered' to develop competence in reading - in particular, the use of TDQS. These text dependent questions encourage deeper engagement with the text. Assessment opportunities and differentiation throughout. All ready to go.
