Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

This training is aimed at the 16+ age group, studying subjects such as Health and Social Care BTEC Level 2 or 3, or CACHE Level 2 or 3. It gives an overview of what practitioners need to know specifically in relation to safeguarding vulnerable adults, and gives a number of exercises to put concepts into practice. It is a good accompaniment to any Safeguarding Units.

This training can be supplimented with the NHS Safeguarding Policy, and various relevant legislation, such as The Mental Capacity Act, The Human Rights Act, The Mental Health Act and The Care Act.

There is also an NHS Safeguarding App learners can download to their phones to make activities more varied.
