These resources have been adapted from the Standards & Testing Agency Sample key stage 2 mathematics paper 1: arithmetic.
They are intended to mirror the style and content of their sample material.
Their design and appearance closely imitates the STA materials so that pupils using the resource for test practice become familiar with the layout and style.

A fantastic resource. Just like the real sample paper.
Why couldn't the STA issue more so we can practise.
Well done and thank you.
I think these papers are an excellent resource.
I had no problem printing. The paper printed out perfectly without any formatting intervention necessary and my pupils were unphased by the fraction notation.
Great job - thank you.

Questions are in the style of the new arithmetic paper, however a couple of problems:

Firstly the page formatting is weird so that the questions cut across pages when printed. Page breaks need inserting to print properly so you need to know a little bit about excel to sort that. Would be better if done on the originals before downloading.

Secondly all fractions are written in the format 5/6 rather than the usual format used in tests - the equation editor needs to be used. Far more work I know - but if you're selling stuff, it should be done properly!

I'll up my rating if these are fixed. But won't be using them until then because of the fraction notation issue.
