Roarsome Shape Challenge Cards:

46 roarsome shape challenge cards for you to use in your areas of provision! A blank set of challenge cards is also provided, plus certificates to celebrate the children’s achievements!

• The challenges cover 2D and 3D shape names and attributes, position and patterns.

*The challenges cover the UK Reception Early Learning Goals & US Kindergarten Common Core Standards.

*The challenge cards should be printed out and placed in a stand or photo frame.

*You may want to use 1 or 2 of the challenges per week, depending on the needs and abilities in your class.

*You should show and explain the challenge(s) to your class. Then place them in your maths area for the children to complete, next to the resources required to complete the challenge.

*In addition to the cards, you will need commonly found classroom resources, such as 2D and 3D shapes, dough, pegboards, craft supplies, etc.
