Silas Marner Scheme of Work for Year 7 students

This resource was written for the first few lessons on Silas Marner, with a Year 7 class. It contains the first few lesson plans and resource material.

I have taught Silas Marner to Year 7 for many years, and find that students need scaffolding right up until the point where Molly dies, at which point they are so hooked that they are more able to read the text independently and enjoy reading it together in class.
