With this activity, students will practice simplifying radical expressions (square roots only). After they identify what's left inside the radicand, they will color the mandala according to the color indicated. Even unmotivated students enjoy coloring, so give them a chance to have fun while practicing their important algebra skills! When the students are done, the finished pieces make beautiful classroom decor and allow you to showcase your students' coloring, and algebra, skills!
