Tracking the new National Curriculum, these are 11 separate spelling lists dealing with 11 of the spelling rules which Year 3 children must learn. Also included are words from the National Curriculum wordlist for Years 3 and 4. These words are underlined for ease of reference, and chosen as far as possible to fit in with the spelling rule the children are learning.
The idea is, you trim and stick these spellings lists into the children's books each week. The tables include a look, check, cover table as well as a suggestion for a further activity at the end of the spellings, to help children practise further.
