A fun data handling activitiy in which investigate the the most popular Halloween costume amoungst their classmates, create a graph and answer questions based on their data.
-Eerie Ordering
Students order sets of numbers from smallest to largest. There are four different levels of activities - ordering two-digit numbers and ordering three-digit numbers, ordering decimals up to one decimal place and ordering decimals up to two decimal places.
-Fearful 31st
Students find all the different ways to make 31 in this fun filled Halloween activity.
-Revolting Rounding
Students round the numbers in the pumpkins. There are three ability levels; rounding to nearest multiple of 10, rounding to the nearest multiple of 100 and rounding decimals to the nearest whole number.
-My Monster
Student create their very own Halloween monster and then write descriptions of their creation.
-Alphabet Order
Students order Halloween themed words alphabetically.
-Parts of Speech
Students sort the words into the correct box according to their word
type.
-Spooky Syllables
Students sort the Halloween word cards into groups according to their number of syllables.
-Scary Sequences
Students work out the next number in the number sequences. Four different levels of activities are included to cater for different ages/ability levels.
