The Didactic Cinquain, in which line length is determined by the number of words in each line. The Didactic Cinquain follows the pattern 1-2-3-4-1 (so that the first line has one word, the second has two, the third has three, the fourth has four and the fifth has one).
The American Cinquain: it can be written about anything; it has 5 lines; the syllable pattern is 2, 4, 6, 8, 2; it does not need to rhyme, but rhymes can be included.
In this product, you will find the templates that will guide students to write there 2 types of cinquains. These can be used across subjects with most levels to inject fun, recall key ideas or to summarize what has been taught.
