How can I help my learners’ comprehension of St Andrew’s Day?
This fact file and differentiated reading comprehension activity is a great way to teach your children about St Andrew’s Day. With a choice of three differentiated sheets of comprehension questions to answer, it’s ideal to help understand your kids’ level of reading comprehension. They’ll learn more about the patron saint of Scotland, Saint Andrew, as they engage with the fact file. Why not use it in the lead up to St Andrew’s Day, held on November 30th?

Each differentiated sheet includes ten questions for your learners to answer. After reading the fact file, kids should be able to answer questions on the patron saint and events surrounding his life, such as who he is and why and how he was killed. This St Andrew’s Day Comprehension Activity has been beautifully-illustrated too, to make the text much more engaging to read.
