Stop the bus! - Vocab game

Stop the bus triple decker bumper pack!

This quick paced game will challenge students on their vocab knowledge against the clock!
Based on the categories game we used to play on the playground, this template will help support in developing and consolidating language for:

• adjectives
• nouns
• verbs and tenses

How to play:

Game 1:

• Pick a letter at random e.g. ‘H’
• Set a timer. Challenge your friends to see who can come up with the most adjectives for each category beginning with ‘H before the time is up
• The one with the most points wins!

Game 2:

• Pick a letter at random e.g. ‘H’
• Challenge your friends to record 1 adjective for each category beginning with ‘H’
• Be the first to get to the end and shout ‘STOP THE BUS!’ to win!

Extra challenge:
Each player gets 1 point per adjective BUT if another play has written the same adjective then you only get half a point! Get creative and think of the craziest adjectives to avoid matching with a friend.
