How to use this subitising presentation?

This is a set of 15 real-life pictures where children can apply their ability to subitise while having fun.

Children will need to decide if what they see is 6 or not 6 and how they see it in each picture.
There is not just one correct answer which gives children the confidence to explain what they see and how they see it, promoting their mathematical perceptual subitising and composition of numbers, encouraging mathematical discussion and increasing their speaking skills as well.

Use this presentation in as many ways as you can think of :
-On a screen or interactive whiteboard as part of a Maths lesson,
-Printed to turn them into an independent Maths activity/station where children can talk to each other about what they see in these pictures and how they see it,
-During their snack break time, etc.
