Students will be able to celebrate the return of the spring season and demonstrate the definition of symmetry by constructing and designing an interactive butterfly with a set of wings that are the same size and shape. Students will also be able to identify the 4 life cycle stages of a butterfly by constructing each of the 4 life cycle stages in order from egg to full adult butterfly. A learning objective, subject summary and application in real life, materials needed for each student and the step by step directions needed to create this lesson are all detailed in each of my lesson plans.
