Talk about TV

Encourage able students to give extended answers using this. If you’re familiar with the “trap door” activity.
Lots of variants but to start with you could simply choose an answer for each sentence starter 1 to 7, jot it down but don’t show students.
eg 1b 2a 3c 4a 5c 6c 7b
And go round the class getting them to build up the correct answer.
Variants

• pair or group work
• remove eg 6 and 7 to shorten the answer
• blank out the answers, can they complete the sentence starters from memory
• etc
