Tarsia Puzzle - Collecting like terms in one variable (KS2/KS3)

Simplifying expressions of linear algebra using addition and subtraction. Each question only deals with a linear variable. Answers are only positive, majority are within 0-20 for lower ability with a few large sums (under 100) to provide slight challenge. The letters used in the questions are chosen to avoid confusion with numbers, letters are reused to avoid guessing by process of elimination.

Suitable for first look at algebra and collecting terms.

How to use: Print to your desired size, cut along the sides of all squares and give to each student or group to solve.
