A Tarsia Jigsaw activity on Algebraic Substitution. These type of activities can be used to consolidate understanding of a given topic, and foster positive group work and co-operative learning. By making adjustments such as removing answers and making deliberate mistakes, they can be made even more challenging and engaging to the students. Excellent resource. I have found a couple of your deliberate mistakes though, just to prove to you that I was paying attention, sir! The expression for 1 should be a+c+2b and not a+c-2b. Also the expression for 6 should be 2(a-c) and not 2(a-b). I think that's all!

Great resource - the answers are the question numbers so it's easy to adapt without the risk of duplication of answers (which I often seem to do while rushing if making my own tarsias...)
