A lesson or revision session that can be used to teach internet protocols including the TCP / IP protocol model, the lesson covers the four layers to the TCP / IP model, it goes into detail for students about how each layer works. To help students understand the concept I have linked to the way it works to how a letter is sent in the post.
I have included a starter activity, main activity, plenary and homework documents. The teacher presentation goes into detail about the TCP / IP so you can personalise for your class depending upon how much they already know.
Content is also included on internet protocols including HTTP / HTTPS / SMTP / IMAP / POP / FTP.
An A3 revision mat is included for the main activity, it can be used as a revision exercise or purely as a teaching exercise depending upon how you want to use the resource.
