An example of telling time to the hour and half-hour has been provided to help you teach students how to tell time. Explain how the long arm and short arm on the clock represent the hour and minute. When you teach them about the half-hour, explain that the hour hand is halfway between two numbers on a clock. A worksheet is provided for independent practice.
