The Colour Monster bundle of activities

This pack is based on the story ’The Colour Monster’. It is great for talking about and expressing feelings. Curriculum links to English and Art too. It includes:
*. pictures of the monster to colour

• a single picture to colour. We also used this to write adjectives about how he was feeling
• a photo of an activity we did using ’feeling jars’. Each day the children choose a scrap of material in the colour that represented how they were feeling. They placed in the correct jar and discussed with the class why they were feeling that way.
• A ‘feelings jar’ worksheet
• a letter from the monster to the children, explaining his feelings
• a blank letter template for the children to write back to the monster
