An independent learning lesson on the Doppler effect, what it is and how it relates to sound. the power point contains the basic lesson and links to YouTube for the big bang theory and a little explanation clip. I printed out the information cards and placed them around the room for students to collect the information from. The students then were responsible for their learning and collecting the information from around the room.

Worksheet has very little to do with the doppler effect. Waste of money.

Thanks! I edited the grid to give it in terms of success criteria rather than grades for my high ability students. i.e I have showed precise knowledge of how sound travels I have demonstrated detailed understanding of pitch and loudness I have explained the effect of motion on the wavelength and frequency Explanations demonstrate quality of written English with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
