The five senses (also the two extra ones: proprioception and vestibular sense)

A complete lesson (likely to be two lessons) on the five senses inviting learners to share personal experiences, to help build sentence structures using modal verbs and adverbs, classifying adjectives such as sparkly, fresh, faint etc… and identify what sense those adjectives could describe. The PowerPoint then examines the use of the word “sense” and its different meaning according to context. We then look at anosmia and hyperosmia and other situations where our senses can be impaired and what can affect this.
Lots of opportunities for discussion, good for English classes or EFL classes.
