The Heart and Circulatory System (AQA GCSE Biology) Visual Lesson with Worksheet

This lessons focus is a unique way of learning about the heart: the 4 chambers, double circulatory pump, and the circulatory system for AQA GCSE Biology.

These lessons are all visual lessons which support all learners to access the curriculum, pushing students as well as scaffolding where appropriate.

The lesson follows AQA GCSE Biology specification (B1 - Organisation) with GCSE Exam questions as assessment for learning throughout, as well as a number of other fun and engaging activities to support learner agency and exam paper accessibility.

The resource includes a handy and novel worksheet to be used under the visualiser to support students to understand the structures of the heart and the ‘double pump’.

The lesson includes a practical method to support student agency in the laboratory.
