This lesson is taken from a unit on the Holocaust, titled ‘What do we need to know about the Holocaust?’.
In this lesson, students will be provided with a number of statements and a set of figures on an activity sheet (differentiated). Their task is to match each of the statements to the correct figure. I have found that this activity creates a great deal of student engagement.
Once complete, answers can be provided, which will then lead into an SMSC plenary. A starter activity is also included for students as soon as they get in the room.
