This lesson was intended for AQA (9-1) GCSE Biology but would be easily adapted. Lesson covers the types of environmental change and the ability to evaluate the effects of environmental changes. It is a full lesson including full engaging and interactive presentation, activities throughout and an exam question to assess understanding at the end of the lesson.
Thank you for this. Good lesson aimed at higher level students. I agree with previous review that the Nature article is a bit difficult for most students and also very long, but it could be given to top set students as pre-reading before the lesson, and still be used for the intended activity.

Useful resources. I would say though that the nature article is very 'heavy going' for students. Perhaps it would be useful to include a simplified version for lower attaining students.
