This is one of my favorite and most successful GCSE projects. This powerpoint has 172 slides and is based on the topic “The Living World”
Students will be given the opportunity to explore portraiture and animals and will work artist images, own images and some secondary reference material.
This full project can be used for GCSE or A-Level students and is is a scheme of work which will last 1-2 terms. It has examples of students work and artist images for you to use and share with students.

Dissapointed with the Powerpoint, mostly just a collection of pictures downloaded from the internet or pages from students sketchbooks, and many of them repeated. No real useful explanatory information included or how the project has been structured to address the GCSE Criteria.

At GCSE level, student need to see real examples of students work, that’s exactly what this presentation has to offer. Real work that has been graded and awarded A/A* by Edexecel exam board. All examples are from students sketchbooks. The order of this scheme of work follows the 4 assessment objects for the GCSE art course & is clearly labelled with the lesson objectives throughout.<br />

The purpose of this scheme of work is to inspire students and to give them the bigger picture of how to produce a full project within the theme “The Living World”<br />
