The Magic Box by Kit Wright is an amazing poem for inspiring children to be inventive and creative with their vocabulary! This resource includes a lesson powerpoint, Kit Wright’s poem illustrated with images which can be printed off for the children to use, plus a spider diagram the children can use to plan their ideas before writing their own poem. I have taught this lesson on numerous occassions and had amazing successful outcomes for all children.
