In an exciting resource, students will work in expert groups to learn about Simon Armitage and explore keywords to make predictions of what the poem may be about. In pairs, students will use their assigned clue cards to probe and analyse language in the poem and interpret layers of meaning. Their knowledge will be consolidated through creating profiles, clue cards, sequencing, and a fill in the blank activity. They will apply their knowledge by answering an exam style question with a PETERS paragraph.
