The River’s Journey - Source to Sea worksheets are an ideal accompaniment to studying water courses.
The set consists of various, flexible worksheets that can be used to fit your teaching needs for this unit of work.
All images are hand drawn, black and white drawings for easy printing/photocopying for class use.

1. Rivers from Source to Sea - full page illustration of the course of an ideal river, featuring as many river features as is possible, from mountain top to sea. Highly adaptable to your lesson requirements, label or annotate features with as much or little information as suits your class needs, then colour in too. Print A3 for maximum writing space.

2. The River’s Journey - Worksheets featuring a written description of the rivers course and the features and processes it contains, which students can complete using the word list supplied.
   This is provided in 5 separate documents to make it more adaptable to your needs:

• Word only worksheet featuring whole river course and word list
• Whole river course description split over 3 separate sheets, upper, middle and lower course, each featuring the appropriate section of the illustration and a complete word list.
• Individual downloads for the above 3 illustrated worksheets with a reduced word list appropriate to that section of river course ( full list also included)

These can be used in conjunction with the full illustration or as stand alone activities.
