As a busy SENDCo, it is sometimes really difficult to find the tools and resources you need to support a young person when they are feeling low, anxious or depressed. I often find that with the raging hormones that a young person has, they find it difficult to find the root cause of what is worrying them and effecting their mental and physical wellness.
This is a really simple tool to support young people to reflect on their mental and physical wellness. It is often difficult for students for them to explain why they are feeling low or unbalanced. The wellness wheel is a visual that helps to specifically pinpoint areas for development and celebration and hopefully, provide the practitioner and young person a spring board for further work.
