In this unit, children will follow the journey of Theseus, from his humble beginnings in Troezen, to his treacherous travels to Athens and then finally his glorious victory over the Minotaur in Crete. Using the story of Theseus as inspiration, children will write their own story creating their own hero, monster and setting for their final assessed piece.
